Princess Nokia has the liveliest most amazing show I have been to in a while, her energy, her stage presence, her rules are just soo perfect. Here is a performer who is not phoning it in, she is giving it her all, her everything.
I absolutely loved the show, loved the crowd, the chaos and madness, loved her rules for the Princess Nokia show, loved her inclusiveness.
I hardly experience a concert in which the majority of the audience are people of color, much less women, and much much less women of color especially for rap, but in this crowd I found this unity, I found myself rapping (poorly) with other women who looked like me, by an artist who embraces to represent me. LOVED IT!
To see Princess Nokia will be an unforgettable experience and it will be amazing!
Saw the hugely talented Princess Nokia for the second time, this time at KOKO in Camden. (First time was the, several times postponed due to COVID lockdown, gig at EartH in 2021 which was tremendous)
Outstanding performance of new and old material, was especially pleased that Ms Destiny performed 'THe Anomaly' from her splendid 'Metallic Butterfly' mixtape as well as possibly my favourite ever track of hers 'Dragons'.
The new material is superb too with some proper bangin' choons!
Had a great time in a great, diverse and friendly crowd, big shout goes out the 'excited polar bear' girls!
Already looking forward to seeing Ms Destiny perform Marina gig next year at Ally Pally - only reason I bought a ticket.
Perfect baby balance of otherworldly and deep from the roots of this world. Beautiful show. Horsepowar as opener was JUICYYYYY!!! Never seen them before, but got that stage jumpin for the princess.
Would like to remind all Nokia babies that her message is to bring together ALL women of race and identity together with empowerment and individualism as a something to celebrate, not segregate. Hold your heads high through the injustice you have faced and embrace one another, that is what she is about.
Hi
I thought the Princess NOkia Concert was amazing. She is an incredible artist. The whole show was fun and you could really see, that she has put her work in it.
The organisation was okey, we had to wait for such a long time, not knowing when to meet her (Meet&Greet). But the wait was wort it!
I'm really happ, that i was still able to her, cause of the coronavirus, she can't continue the europatour. I was one of the lucky ones.
She's such an underappreciated artist.
Love
My friends and I bought tickets over a month before her show thanksgiving weekend in LA. 4 days before she reschedules it to the middle of January. We live in the bay area and rented out an airbnb which we couldn't cancel so we drove down anyway. im hella dissapointed & i know a lot of ppl prob were driving or flying in bc it was an extended weekend. im sure i'll see her when she comes to sf or oakland but smhhhhh
She ruled. Lots of chatting to the crowd, amazing Lights show, high class bitch! Addressed topics of inclusivity and identity in a very lovely and inspiring way. Played loads of her new albums but also the hits. Go see her!
Best show I've ever attended!!! All three performers did amazing. The energy was so positive and beautiful. I met gorgeous people with gorgeous minds. It was fucking spectacular. I loved every second of it!!
