Dan Navarro

Dan was great once again. We spoke after the show and recalled a great time spent together after a House Party show in 2013 got prematurely rained out, some mutual friends, and I also spoke with a person or two I knew from previous shows of Dan's in the Chicago area.

Dan is a raconteur and his between song banter runs the gamut from poignant to laugh out loud funny. He also looks great, kudos to him for rescheduling just a few months after a health issue forced him to cancel August shows on very short notice, to heal. I look forward to seeing him many times more and am grateful I saw him his last visit to Chicago with Eric, and each of the five times since then.

Dan is talented beyond belief. His songs are soulful and heartfelt, and he truly enjoys performing and then meeting with his ardent fan base after shows. One of the highlights of every show is the "encore" when he wanders through the audience like a table side performer in a small cantina or bistro.

You should follow him, see him at both clubs and House Parties, as his schedule and your locale allow. A truly genuine, approachable and appreciative musician.

Keep it up for years to come, Dan. I'll be there whenever possible, and when I can fit in a visit to family/friends around your touring, I'll travel and do everything in my power to ensure they get introduced to you.
