Big Wild put on a delightfully rich and engaging show! Ida Hawk and the other guest vocalists were a fantastic addition to his compellingly soulful, upbeat and slightly trippy (in the best way) grooves. We felt the love and danced with enthusiasm.
The venue leaves a bit to be desired IMHO. Such a deep floor space with zero seating and dense crowd definitely impacts the audience experience. I understand the need to make money, but other venues achieve a better result.
But most important, the sound was pretty darn good. (I’d give it an A-.). And the crowd was friendly.
Lisa speaks true.
Big Wild will blow you away. There is so much energy and joy at his show. He'll surprise with sounds and songs you won't expect and remix his own tunes to throw some variety in there. The graphics are also well done and complete the entire stage production.
Lived up to all of my expectations and blew past a few too.
He played just before Odessa, was a shame though I had bought the tickets to see Big Wild. Wish he had a longer set.
They cranked up the volume for Odessa too which I think is a bit bogus.
This has got to be one hell of a show that I hsve seen in many years. Last time I got this amped up was for iron maiden. Highly recommended for the dancers out there who want to be free and let go of the body and let the soul take control.
AMAZING!PLEASE COME BACK TO NYC! THANKS! APPARENTLY I NEED 30 MORE WORDS SO HEAR THEY AREEEEEEE YAYAYAYAY STILL NOT ENOUGH WORDS WHICH IS WILD BC I DONT NEED MORE THAN ONE TO DESCRIBE THE SHOW WHICH WAS AMAZING.
AMAZING SHOW! Including Mild Minds and Robotaki! Honestly may be my favorite show of the year. Such great energy! I love the superdream album and he made it come to life with outstanding visuals.
So fun! It was a small place, great crowd, he played all his good tunes... I am obsessed with his Sylvan Esso song :) I bet he could sell out the Sinclair in Cambridge!
