I don’t know how but these guys put on such a good show! The music is amazing, but it’s the band’s character and humor that perfects the show. Dallon appoints the crowd as the third member of the group and this is definitely true. The audience singing along is crucial to parts of the show. It’s a lot of fun. At one part the crowd is divided in half, one section being “Team Dallon” and the other being “Team Ryan”. There’s a little competition on which team can sing the loudest. Let’s just say I blew my voice out. At one point Dallon was able to part the audience without saying a word. Moses who?! He then runs through the new path and manages to do a repeat after me type of thing, aplifying his voice with only his hands. He does not instruct the crowd at all during this time I tell you. Other things to look out for are lots of head banging/hair flips, multi-talented Ryan + awkwardness, the three rules (no peer pressure), and a competition of temperature-increasing outerwear. Despite IDK’s closing song, opener Cherry Pools was quite good. I think I will listen to them again. Since I got an excellent and very close spot, I was awkwardly near to the band’s guitarist. I got to high five Dallon and Ryan at least 3 times! I would definitely see IDKHOW again. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Going to one of the band’s concerts is 100% recommended.
iDKHOW puts on an incredible show! It’s non-stop music, even while Dallon or Ryan is interacting with the crowd. Their use of electronic music to enhance (but not overwhelm) their live bass and drums is a brilliant retro-futuristic touch to this band out of time. The addition of Beck’s “Debra” to the setlist is a major highlight, and proves Dallon is a vocalist to be watched. And watching Ryan jump onto bass while simultaneously keeping the drum beat going is not to be missed. All-in-all, this was my seventh iDKHOW show and I still walk out of there on a cloud, because they know how to entertain their audience and they never get boring.
Super fun! I love Dallon's attitude and charisma. The onstage rapport between him and Ryan was contagious. Definitely loved how many old Brobecks songs they played, just wished they had a chosen a different song to break up with a game since Visitation Of the Ghost is my favorite song of theirs. But it was fun, definitely something I'd do again if I got a chance!
Led by frontman and bassist Dallon Weekes with drummer Ryan Seaman, this band will give you a show. Tickets are unbelievably cheap for the experience you get- I would pay ten times what I did (10$) and quite frankly I would probably give my left kidney for a ticket. This band lives up to all expectations, and surpasses them. Iconic.
It was awesome, there was lots of audience interaction. Dallon was very funny and Ryan was great as well #teamRyan. This was a present for my friends birthday and she loved it (and so did I, maybe a little more than she did) and we sang our voices out. I would 100% see them again.
It was a wonderful show! Dallon and Ryan are amazing performers and they were a joy to watch. The opening band, Twin XL, were also very good. Wooly's is an amazing venue and I am so happy I decided to buy tickets.
The show was awesome! At one point during the show the lead singer/bassist jumped into the crowd and walked down the middle. The drummer also played bass while drumming for one song. It truly amazing.
It was amazing!! I would really recommend going! Dallon and Ryan are really talented and their humour and showmanship makes for a brilliant night. The opening band White Room were also really good :)
My favorite band, the amount of energy IDKHow brings is awesome. Every show I’ve seen from them is fantastic and I’d highly recommend them to anyone thinking of seeing them, 10/10
