Amber Pacific

Amber Pacific are one of those bands that have MySpace to thank for their huge success amongst the pop punk world having signed to Hopeless Records and then later, Victory Records.
This evening is hosted by the company “The Pop Punk Days”, a social media platform that put on events throughout the country, inviting punters who had that classic love hate relationship with pop punk and emo music in the mid 00’s. This audience tonight are pumped and ready to sing along to some major key hooks, played by an animated aesthetically pleasing pop punk band. Amber Pacific earned themselves quite a following. I’ll be honest, it is definitely the harmonies, riffs, melodies, tight drums and just plain and simple nostalgia that carry this band through their set. Every song is catchy, but the lyrical content is a little bit predictable! No one is complaining. These riffs are mammoth, every drum fill makes you go “ooooo”, and the merch stand has anything you could think of with “Amber Pacific” on it. (all of which selling like hot cakes, including fan-made hot cakes.)
