Peter Maffay

Peter Maffay is a true living legend, a German rock n roll silver fox. He's been in the business for years and he's so experienced and talented with the industry that every time he steps out on the stage, he transforms the entire audience and wins them over completely. Peter's solo career has been hugely inspiring so far, and getting to watch him play at Melkweg in Amsterdam, Netherlands in March 2014, felt like a hugging stepping stone in my musical education.

This guy is so good-natured and confident on stage, it's infectious. The entire crowd was going wild just at the sight of him, and he has the most dedicated of fans that completely give themselves over to his performance, and rightfully so. He's got a gorgeous voice, and he transports everyone there to a whole new dimension when they listen to him. His music is timeless, and the entire crowd was clearly so thrilled to be there and be in his presence, that I can't help but wish I was back there in that venue right now.

Peter is an entirely original and fresh character with so much class and a serious amount of professionalism. But his talent and his music-filled heart really shines through in all the tracks, and it feels absolutely amazing to have been there to witness it.
