Following a successful tour through Northern Europe, Vanisha Gould makes her debut at the club with the Chris Andersen Quartet. The Danish quartet features Andreas Toftemark on tenor saxophone, Rasmus Sørensen on piano, Lasse Mørck on bass and Chris Andersen on drums.
Born and raised in Southern California, Vanisha Gould has developed a dynamic, deeply personal jazz vocal style, honed on the bandstands of celebrated venues including Smalls and Dizzy’s. Her music offers a rare and authentic jazz experience, blending timeless standards and heartfelt tributes from her debut album Life’s a Gig with original material from her most recent release, She’s Not Shiny, She’s Not Smooth.
