British dance artists, Eamon Downes (a.k.a. Ame) and Shane Heneghan (a.k.a. DJ Model) decided to join forces back in 1991 and formed Liquid. However, for reasons unknown, the duo has become the solo act of Eamon Downes, who still travels the world, playing clubs and giving the people the best music to dance to.
There is something very interesting about watching a live set in a club setting. On the one hand, you are completely overwhelmed by the atmosphere of dancing and drinking and having a good time, but on the other, you can’t help but stop on occasion to watch the meticulous changes and movements of the DJ. This is no different in the case of watching Liquid. There is so much passion and creative flow that you can see just emanating out from Eamon, and you can see how carefully and calculated he times every button push or track change. His transitions are flawless, and there isn’t any point through the night where you feel like your dance party is interrupted. He is clearly having as great of a time as everyone else, as he is constantly moving to the beat of the music. His energy is attention drawing, but never becomes distracting.
