Bertrand is a French saxophonist and visual artist based in Galway, Ireland, known for his rich versatility across jazz, classical, and contemporary styles.
His playing spans jazz, pop, rock, and classical, often blending lyrical phrasing with rhythmic precision. His recordings include original compositions such as A Fouic Sans Fouic, Bossa Qui Pleut, and Facial (with Ger Madden, Eoin McCann, and Barry Duffy). He also appears on collaborative tracks like The Far Islands and Quintessence with the Black Magic Big Band
He was featured on RTÉ Lyric FM’s “Musical Migrations”, where he discussed his journey from France to Galway and his contributions to Ireland’s musical landscape
