Slow Coast

Battle of the Bands is a music festival/band competition hybrid in which 20 bands across 5 stages will compete to win prizes- The prizes this year are BIGGER and BETTER! The winners will be chosen by the crowd!

We’ve blocked off three streets in the SoFi District (2 block lengths of 2nd and Franklin between them) We have 3 street stages, another at Folklore, and the Uptown.

The festival takes place on July 26th with the first bands going on at 11am and finishing by 5:30pm, at which point we’ll tally your votes and announce the WINNERS!

This event is open and free to the public- and while it is still illegal to bring in outside alcohol, the businesses of SoFi are permitted to sell wine and beer in the street. Purchasing wine and beer requires tickets, which you can buy on the day of at a centralized station called the HUB.
