ubu.zip is a Munich-based Krautrock/electronica duo consisting of members Daniel and Raphi. The duo is described as playing a retro-futuristic blend of Krautrock and Electronica. Their music is characterized by the use of drums and synthesizers to create hypnotic beats, melodic sequences, and experimental noise textures. The project is the successor to their former neo-Krautrock trio, Ubu Imperator.
