Lorenzo Masotto

Italian pianist and composer Lorenzo Masotto brings his distinctive and evocative sound to a lunchtime concert at All Saints Church, High Wycombe.

Based in a small village at the foot of the Carega massif in the Little Dolomites, Masotto draws deep inspiration from the natural world that surrounds him. This connection to landscape and atmosphere is at the heart of his music, which blends classical foundations with a wide range of influences.

Having begun his musical journey at the age of nine, he went on to study classical piano and composition before exploring genres as diverse as progressive rock, punk, jazz, and contemporary classical music. Unconfined by a single style, Masotto treats music as an evolving language—one that reflects emotion, nature, and inner experience.

Each of his compositions captures a fleeting moment, transforming it into a rich and immersive sonic landscape. Audiences can expect a performance that is both intimate and deeply expressive, shaped by a unique artistic voice.
