  I had no idea that Laurent Garnier (aka. Choice) had been DJing since the 80s. His style spans over so many genres but sits under the umbrella of Techno. Over the years, he’s been referred to as the French DJ, and he’s definitely lived up to that title through his record releases, and his incredible performances.

  The atmosphere in the club was incredible with everyone pumped for the set. I’ve seen multiple DJs over the years, and hands down, Garnier was by far the best, simply out of this world. The music began reasonably slowly, as Garnier put his hands up, began clapping, encouraging everyone to dance along, the heavy bass resonating through each and every audience member. The vibe was great, and the way he built up a huge crescendo throughout the performance, and surprised us with where the drops came in the middle of the tracks.

  Throughout the show, he was interacting with the audience, removing his headphones and shouting out and getting people to sing along and dance at his booth. The show was over 2 hours long, and the energy didn’t drop once throughout the show. He played through loads of his mix tapes, as well as the album, and put some new mixes in there which everyone seemed to love dancing to – great beats and tunes!
