The Civil Wars

The Civil Wars are hands down my favorite duo of all time! They've done quite a few covers from Sade to the late Michael Jackson and are probably the only vocalists that can make me choose a cover over the original. Just their voices accompanied by guitar and occasionally a few other instruments and I swear I've heard the sounds of heaven.

They are phenomenal. Joy Williams and John Paul White fit perfectly together. Match made in music industry heaven. No one else like them. When they sing, the audience doesn't even attempt to sing along.

You can't help but lend your undivided attention on these two. I adore them more then words could ever express. One song of theirs I can't get enough of live or from YouTube is The One That Got Away from the show Ravenswood.

Combo of folk and country, they can pull off singing any song by any artist, I am fully convinced. They are the real deal, no gimmicks or autotune needed here. Just the stage and a captive audience. This is the best concert I have ever attended, ever! I would encourage any and everyone to check out The Civil Wars. Doesn't matter your age or musical tastes, you are sure to love these two as much as I do.
