Críticas en vivo
Matthew Cooper, more commonly referred to as the musician Eluvium, is a true artist when it comes to music. Some musicians are in it for the fame or the money, but, after having the distinct pleasure of witnessing Eluvium perform live, I can definitely say that Eluvium is in it for the artistry. Seeing him at The Empty Bottle in Chicago was a rare experience, as I was in the type of mindset I hate to go to concerts in. I was distracted and agitated after a long day of work, and almost concerned not seeing him after all. I'm happy I went to see him, as his ambient tracks began to soothe my reeling head and penetrate deeper into my soul. Eluvium's performance of "Under the Water it Glowed" was truly transcendental, and I found myself whisked away on a mesmerizing and haunting journey through the layers Eluvium managed to create on stage. His respect for the craftmanship of music along is truly astounding, and staggeringly obvious when watching him create music on stage live in front of you. It truly felt like I was a fly on the wall in his study, watching his creative process unfold, which was an incredible and truly unique experience to witness at a live concert in this day and age.
