Roo Panes

Roo Panes has been able to travel a long way from home with his music. Born in Wimborne, Dorset, a tiny town with a surprisingly rich musical heritage (the birthplace of prog legend Robert Fripp), Roo has come a long way. He springed into success following a campaign with seminal UK clothing brand Burberry, which saw him recording music for the company alongside modelling for the brand. This was the initial surge in popularity he needed to be able to take his show around the UK, building a reputation and wowing fans wherever he went.

A talented guitar player, Roo showcases his melodic compositions backed by a gentle group of string players and drums. The soft dynamics of his sets make for a hushed crowd who are wowed by the beauty and musical depth of his songs. It’s no surprise that there was modelling involved in Roo Panes’ career as well as he makes for an enigmatic spectacle on stage charming and wooing the audience with both his looks and his vocals. He’s come a long way from Wimborne and, by the looks of things, he’s got many miles left in him yet.

Roo Panes gave an amazing performance at The Old Church Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon. The venue was very intimate and I want to go to more concerts put on at that venue. I can’t wait for the next time he comes to Oregon. I will definitely be going! The musicians that played with him were very talented and added so much to his songs. Their performance of The Land of the Living was so much better live and I loved the different instruments used compared to the recording. I loved hearing the stories he shared about how he wrote some of his songs. It adds so much to the song when I listen to it now.
Roo Panes voice is amazing in concert and I highly recommend going to see him perform. He is very sweet and personable when he talks to people after the concert. 10/10 recommend.

This is the second time I had the privilege to see Roo perform in London, and I loved it even more than the first time. I have been enjoying his music since he started and can see the progress and him and the band have made. The quality of the performance was of an incredible caliber and it was just an enchanting night. What a joy to witness such gifted individuals glorify God with their talents. Emma x

This concert was amazing the vipe in the room was very relaxing. You as person, you are touching my soul with your voice. I'm in love with your music at the first discovery on YouTube. And I'm glad the see you live in Amsterdam this time and I'm coming back in March.Your music is soul food to me.

Impressive show. I loved how cohesive the band was, even though some were super" new " members. I enjoyed that the progression of the concert was old and new songs and that Lullaby love was performed. A big fan of Sam and Josh harmonies, they really are a solid piece to the band. A big fan of Roo, and enjoyed meeting him.I hope Roo and the band come back to Chicago :)

Definitely one of the best shows I've ever been to. He sounded incredibly good live, and proved to not only be an amazing talent but also a really nice person (interacting with fans, talking to people after the show, etc). Would totally recommend!!

Go see him. He is a stellar recording artist but his talent is even more outstanding live. The performers fed off the huge positive energy of the crowd and rocked the Biltmore.
