Conor Maynard was one of the first genuine sensations to get his start by covering songs and posting them as videos to YouTube, posting his first video, a cover of Lee Carr's “Breathe”, coming in 2006 when he was a mere 13 years old. Three years later, when Maynard had amassed a nigh-on countless amount of videos and viewers, Maynard's cover of Ne-Yo's track “Beautiful Monster” was seen by Ne-Yo himself, who saw Maynard's sheer talent and got in touch with the young singer soon afterwards. Thanks to the R&B superstar's involvement, Maynard signed a record deal with EMI/Parlophone and a management deal with Turn First. Wisely, his management decided to hold off on debuting him just after signing his record deal, and decided to let him become a songwriter in his own right first.
After teaming him up with the production team The Invisible Men and songwriter Sophie Stern, Maynard began intensive songwriting sessions that would eventually culminate in the creation of his first single “Can't Say No”. The song would eventually be released in April 2012 and went on to be a huge hit all over the world, hurtling into the UK charts at number two on its first week of release. Since then, Maynard has remained one of the most exciting pop stars of his generation, with each of his first five singles peaking in the top ten of the UK singles chart and working with everyone from Rita Ora to Wiley. He's got the world at his feet, and his best days ahead of him, and for that, Conor Maynard comes highly recommended.

Too often compared to Justin Bieber, Conor Maynard has not received the recognition as a credible artist that he deserves. The impression that he has is much more Justin Timberlake in sound and vibe. At the end of the day though, Maynard is simply his own artist. Starting out on YouTube posting covers and original songs on his channel "skillzaisherebooya," Maynard's natural talent was unmistakeable even at the age of fifteen. He produces an interesting mix of pop and R&B that has mass appeal. A Conor Maynard show will have you up on your feet and dancing all night. Many of his songs have the great dance beats of remixes while being the original tracks. Maynard has the moves to support his beats as well, throwing in a few body rolls and the dougie in as he makes his way across the stage.
Although the majority of his songs are primarily poppy in sound, Maynard's strengths come out most when he sings acoustically. The runs and trills that he is capable of producing cannot be achieved unless one is born with the ability. This is apparent from watching just one of the covers that he still continues to upload occasionally to his original YouTube channel. He has a clear affinity for Drake's music and is able to tackle any track from Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" to Nicki Minaj's "Starships" without disappoint. The most impressive cover that he performs live is Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child." Maynard's broad range fills the room with no accompaniment necessary. Highlights of his show also include when he plays on the piano during one of his slower songs called "Just in Case."
Maynard's lyrics are often fun, but certainly not childish. Teens and young adults alike are sure to enjoy his debut album Contrast that ranges from the all out pop of "Vegas Girl" to the slow R&B of "Pictures" and includes the songwriting skills of Pharell and the vocal accompaniment of Rita Ora. Performing live, Maynard does not disappoint either. Being a young solo artist is difficult on stage, but he manages to pull it off remarkably well.

Conor Maynard What do I have to say about you ...1st I love your voice you have great energy your killer funny you make beautiful music .Been following you since you started make your 1st YouTube video and then u started have Anth join you. I know u too would start killing stuff together ..the music you guys make together and the music you help producer is just mind blowing and how you started making music with you brother jack the Goat track are funny as hell .Cant wait to see more of your music / work come out

With a whole wave of teenage fans emerging year after year with increasingly bratty attitudes (see Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainor) it is great to see pop singer Conor Maynard flying the flag for British chivalry on both sides of the Atlantic. It would be an injustice to say Conor simply pays his fans gratitude, they are at the centre of his live operation and he seems to spend more time in the front row than he does onstage.
If he sees signs being held by screaming fans, he points them out and thanks them personally. He joins them on the front rows for sing-alongs to his hits such as 'Animal' and 'Can't Say No' and bounces with them whilst his band and DJ keep everything running smoothly. At just 22 years old, it could be said Maynard has one of the best jobs in the world and he echoes this ideal onstage with a beaming smile and huge amounts of energy. After a short set he seems reluctant to leave the stage but as he exhausts the majority of the material from his debut album he has saved 'Lift Off' to end things on a suitably upbeat note.

I was mainly glad to make it in time. When I did arrive, bouncers and staff were very nice. I immediately went to the merch stand as I didn't want to miss any out. Glad I did. When waiting for the supporting acts, I was pleased with the acts, Casey Lowry was very good. ANTH- he was brilliant, sweating within the first few moments of the show. Puts plenty of energy into his performance.
When the time finally came for Conor Maynard, the whole crowd was aroar. It was an amazing experience, videod almost all of it.
This concert was my favourite first solo concert.
My favourite part was the meet & greet. Meeting Conor Maynard was by far the best part, talking to him, hugging him and having Conor take a few photos of us with my phone.
Best night eva! Well worth everything I spent, and the time I squeezed in to see him.
I'd definitely return.

I can't put into words how beautiful this guy sounds. This is the cheapest you will ever see him for, he will be a superstar before long.
Unreal experience and a fantastic venue.
It went really well, the show sold out and all 3 acts were very enjoyable.
The crowd was very polite and we all sung along.

Conor has and continues to bring so much energy to the stage and hopefully he will come around on a World Tour again soon (and release a new, exciting album for his fans ;)). I would recommend going to one of his concerts for those who are considering it. Much love!

He was amazing!! His energy was phenomenal! I loved his interaction with the crowd and you could tell he was having a great time up there! In the Top 3 of concerts I’ve been to for sure!! Can’t wait to see him again! ❤️❤️❤️
