John Travolta

Journeying from his rise to stardom in 'Saturday Night Fever' and the smash hit musical 'Grease', John Travolta set himself an arduous task of filling those very big shoes of his younger self. Throughout his acting career, he grew from strength to strength, appearing in classics such as 'Pulp Fiction', and was nominated for several prestigious acting awards. His singing career, however, is not anywhere near as well known. Unknown to many, Travolta had a hit single in the 70s, catapulting him into the roles in his Hollywood films. Although Travolta doesn't tour regularly any longer, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to see him in an interview at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, discussing his singing days. His charisma, dedication to fans, and enthusiasm of his work is a credit to him, and if he were to stage a full scale musical tour, I have a sneaking suspicion that it would be very popular!
