Críticas en vivo
The Spanish artist who you can catch next in Mexico is a talented man who I highly recommend seeing live. The Barcelona born artist is known for hits "Cadillac solitairo" and "Feo, feurte y formal" which fuse rock with pop and are favourites at his live shows.
He is without a doubt one of the most iconic rock stars in the Spanish language. He is a legend in Spain, and is not one to be dismissed just because Spanish isn't your strong point. The emotions of his songs are illustrated through his powerful vocals and touch everyone in the audience.
Loquillo is a confident and strong man, displaying this throughout all of his songs, performing in an almost cocky style, which only captivates the audience further. The guitar riffs and catchy chorus' with recognition to the band behind him keep an audience on their toes, dancing, singing and generally going wild for the legend that is Loquillo.
If seeing a spanish rock star is on your bucket list then Loquillo is the man to help you tick this off. You won't regret it.
A true national treasure I would have never thought the Spanish and rock would melt together seamlessly.
The physicality and the spirituality of the music spanning for decades with tributes from Johnny Cash, T-Rex, The Clash, Rockabilly, Doowop and Catalonian rock bands of the 1960’s and 1970’s Loquillo acknowledges his roots while imbuing it with charm and charisma. Although I was sick to my stomach I could not stay away to give this man the tribute he deserves despite my personal political differences with some of his songs. However, rock music is larger than politics so I push aside the differences to enjoy this fusion of rock and the Spanish culture my parents taught to love. Well done Loquillo felicidades en tu aniversario.
