RIP Dina Dragn'fly Lammon
July 15, 1968 - July 9, 2017
Dina Marie Lammon passed away unexpectedly on July 9, at the age of 48 in Sacramento. Dina was born in Vallejo to John Floyd Lammon and Melody Smith Pasciak.
Dina graduated from Vallejo Senior High School in 1986 where she was an integral part of the VHS band. Music continued to be a major part of her life even after high school. Dina obtained a dual degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry from Sacramento State in 1999. After working in the laboratory scene for a few years, Dina decided to return to her true love and passion, music, becoming one of the most respected female, electronic music DJ's in the Bay Area, known as D.J. Dragnfly. Dina also gained international recognition with her performances in Mexico, Germany and Brazil. Friends and family will always remember Dina for her compassion for animals, her down-to-earth personality, and her clever, quick-wit. Dina was preceded in death by her father, John Floyd Lammon. Survivors include her mother, Melody Pasciak; brothers, John (Toni) Lammon, Miko Castro, David Castro; step-mother, Ann Lammon; niece, Genevieve Lammon; nephew, Andrew Lammon and uncles, James Lammon, Dave Lammon and Anthony (Judy) Domenici; numerous cousins and friends.
