By combining their cinematic post-rock roots with abrasive guitars, the intensity of post-metal and crushing emotional dynamics, Lost in Kyiv no longer observe the world from a distance, they confront it head-on.
Lost in Kyiv returns in 2026 with We’re All Going to Be Fine (Pelagic Records, June 19). The album not only marks the band’s fifth studio record, but also a symbolic new chapter, as the French quartet officially changes its name from Lost in Kiev to Lost in Kyiv.
With a renewed line-up, the band embraces a heavier, sharper and more modern sound. The new songs are more direct and emotional than before. While previous albums mainly explored social themes, We’re All Going to Be Fine focuses more on personal emotions, hope, uncertainty and the growing distance between people in modern life.
