Award-winning saxophonist and composer Binker Golding is one of London's most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz. Whether performing with his Americana-inspired band, his acclaimed duo Binker & Moses, or in one of his many collaborative projects, Golding has earned a reputation as one of the UK's most compelling and hard-hitting live performers.

The concert was part of the excellent Boom Fest mini blues festival held as the famous Half Moon in Putney

Marcus is one of four lead guitarists who plays in the Boom Band and they all took their turns to play daytime sets under their own names

The evening session was kicked off by the excelent Dove & Boweevil

The Boom Band returned to the home of their live album recording in 2014 (which I also attended)and played a barnstorming set. The band comprise:

Jon Amor - guitar/vocals
Mark Butcher - guitar/vocals
Marcus Bonfanti - guitar/vocals
Paddy Milner - keyboards/vocals
Matt Taylor - guitar/vocals

Plus rythym section

Jack Hutchinson replaced Bonfanti for one number (or maybe Bonfanti just borrowed a hat)
