Husick's Taphouse

Husicks Taphouse initially opened in 2013 replacing the previous country store with that name with a deli-style BBQ joint offering beer and wine as well. In July 2018, Josh Kress took ownership and brought a new focus on great beer and food that pairs well with it. The building that is now the Taphouse is almost 130 years old and has been many things including the town post office (now Josh’s office) but to the locals will always be known as the former site of Lawlor’s General Store, while Husicks Hardware was in the building two doors down. The building even existed as a storehouse for Buffalo Brewing Company, where two of their cold boxes can be found in the basement. Our entire philosophy is to have a comfortable environment where you can stop for a beer and a bite, or sit and waste the day away while letting your worries wash away.
