Cosmonauts is a garage/psychedelic rock band from Orange County, CA. An unusual mixture, yet the band animate their releases brilliantly onstage and have gained a huge cult following in the US and the UK with their trippy style of performing live. Currently on a huge headline US tour, the boys are worth seeing for the sheer reckless nature of the stage show.
Performing a selection of cult classics such as 'What Me Worry' with extended intros, outros and instrumental bridges where the band aggressively strum guitars to the point where they could combust onstage. Grungey garage merged with the psych synth on the likes of 'Sweet Talk' with a chant style vocal and clap along chorus gets the crowds involved with the band's warping sound. 'Summertime Blue' moves into The Horrors territory with ethereal choruses and a lot of synth supporting the grand track.
Older song 'Two Dollars & Fifty Cents' shows the band really throw themselves into the track onstage as the cloud clap along aggressively which spurs the four piece to tear even more so into their instruments. A really passionate band with an unusual sound, go see them.
They didn't even play. Songkick is awful. I looked at the venue website and the artist website and nothing matches. Bandsintown never gets it so egregiously incorrect. This is thirty words, so...
Kiyoshi I don't agree with you. Songkick is much more reliable than bandsintown. This was one of the first times songkick got it wrong. I need six more works. Ho hum
