Violent Soho- HiFi Bar West End... It is always great to see a local band and even better to see a band that sounds exactly like the record! Violent Soho did not disappoint. It took me back to 1994 grunge band who threw their long hair in a windmill motion, fake guitar bashing, mosh pit (everyone behaved) and when they said they only had two songs to go they actually meant it and didn't do any silly encores (as we didn't need it). I would have to admit there was some awesome concert goers who helped out the hobbit size that I am. Unfortunately, my usual concert intakes seeing backs and bums but there was a tall man-god who let me see the band. It was a great night and I highly recommend Violent Soho as a concert.
Couldn't have asked for better conditions for an outdoor gig. Wind was good, no rain, perfect. As for Violent Soho, the boys brought everything they could. 100% energy could be heard in their music and vocals. Not just that but also the head banging! Crowd was sweet too. I didn't see one hiccup, just hundreds of musos listening to great music. Set list was quality, based on "Waco" but featured the classics. The boys are setting the bar high for Australian artists out there. 10/10 would recommend Violent Soho.
Such a tight gig! The boys brought the heat once again and put on a mad show for Brissy. Sick performance, the crowd was crazy as always and the boys have such good energy it's impossible not to get caught up and thrash your heart out. Yeah the boys!
This was the tightest concert I've been too. best live music, best live atmosphere. Evergreen were there best for sure, then Jesus stole my girlfriend. yeah it was good, real good, fam.
