I do not have a clue what I got myself into, going to see a band called Machinae Supremacy, but I ain't complaining.
Having friends with a wide range of varying tastes in music has it's pros and it has it cons. A pro being they tend to buy extra tickets whenever their band is performing and so you get to see them live and have a fun night out. Cons; they tend to buy extra tickets and drag you along to go listen to music that I can only describe as a confusing sharp sense of pain, administered to the ear for a good two hours. In this case it was a pro!
Not really a fan of heavy metal, or any type of metal, I don't even like monkey bars for goodness sake. Getting told I would be seeing a Sweedish band called Machinae Supremacy. I thought they spelt machine wrong, no, no, that is precisely what they were going for and who am I to argue with that. Their music makes up for any spelling errors I assure you that!
Performing their song 'Rise of a Digital Nation' the show went MAD, people were jumping, spinning, clapping, fist pumping, everything! The light show was intense even going in accordance with a drum solo as mist rolled onto the stage like a horror movie, the entire experience was intense, even I found myself head banging!
If you don't like metal go and see these fellas and that will all change!
