Born to James and Mona Harper, Jamie Grace spent her youth in deep south of Georgia, and showed signs of musical talent at an early age, singing and learning instruments alongside her older sister Morgan, whom she was home-schooled with, at her local church. Jamie Grace was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at the age of 11, and has spoken of how music has helped her with the condition. In 2006, at the age of 14, she created a YouTube account, and began uploading videos to document her musical output.
With Jamie Grace’s unique musical style, blending a mix of genres from hip-hop to folk, she quickly gained the attention of Audio Adrenaline's Mark Stuart and singer David Mullen, which eventually saw her begin performing on the Christian television show and tour iShine. TobyMac, owner of Gotee Records, spotted Grace, and signer her to his label in 2010.
A year later, after spending time recording her first tracks professionally, her debut EP, “Hold Me” was released. The project featured guest vocals from TobyMac, and a cover of dc Talk’s “Into Jesus”. The title track of the EP landed Jamie Grace her first Grammy Award nomination.
After garnering an interest and fan base from her first official release, she went to work on her first full-length project. Later on in 2011 Jamie Grace released her debut studio album “One Song At A Time” and quickly followed it up with her second EP “Christmas Time”.
Away from her musical endeavors, Grace has spent time studying at college and graduated from Point University with a Bachelor's Degree in Children's Ministry. Jamie Grace has also featured as a main speaker in the Revolve Tour by Women of Faith alongside the likes of Britt Nicole and Hawk Nelson

Jamie Grace far exceeded my expectations!! Her voice is so amazing,, her ministry is so amazing! Jamie's message to young girls is something all Christian parents need to expose their little girls to. She hit the stage and knocked everyone's socks off with her powerful voice and playful energy! Her band is spot on and also really nice! She brings more than a beautiful voice, she brings a message. She took the time to let us get to know her and her weaknesses and shortcomings and she became so real and so loving and her words touched every person there in some way. She connected with all of us from the stage and then she took the time after the show to meet each of us and sign merchandise, (which was reasonably priced). I didn't know all her music but I loved it all and I know it now! I can't wait to see her again as soon as she comes back, and I will make sure everyone I know comes too! White Boots was my favorite,, check it out,,, I've got my white boots My white dress And baby, I ain't getting them dusty All I need you to bring Are the rings And I know in time I'll be ready Cause I've been waiting, waiting, waiting, Waiting, waiting, waiting on you
If you know Jaime Grace's music than you would not be surprised by how personal and intimate her concerts are. A girl and her guitar. She talked to us in the audience so much that I feel like she is one of my girls. This beautiful woman sings with her thick folk like voice and then next thing you know she's rapping a different song and then back to singing. Her talent seems endless. I loved it, there was no getting bored at her show. And I am serious it was just her, her guitar and a microphone. Nothing else, and she doesn't need it. My favorite of all favorite songs of hers, Hold Me, was performed about halfway through the show and she gave it such energy that you would have thought it was the first song she did that night. I love the island feel of this song. I'm telling you this by far was the best concert in years. She has such a great charisma and charming personality. And even though I have never spoken to her, after this show I feel that much closer to her. I am forever a fan of Jaime Grace and will see her again next time she is in town.
Atlanta, Georgia’s very own Jamie Grace has been hailed as the next big thing in the country and western market, and you know what? Fair enough. This girl is talented and has so much charisma when she performs live. You can tell as soon as you see her perform that she is exactly where she wants to be. She has a great set of skills including playing her acoustic guitar, singing and hitting some pretty big notes throughout her set and even rapping, with tremendous flow. Signed to Gotee Records she has such a bright future ahead of herself with the way that she performs encouraging the audience to sing throughout her set too. She performs her highly anticipated single “Beautiful Day”, which despite the slightly playschool – esque lyrics, has quite a powerful message that definitely translates. All of her lyrics are completely and utterly positive with such a powerful message throughout. Songs such as “Do Life Big” and “You Lead” earn herself some huge applause this evening.
