When I heard that Jazz Cartier would be passing through The Netherlands on his HOTELPARANOIA tour, I had to get myself a ticket.
The concert was exactly what I had mentally pictured.
The visual effects were creative, well thought out and colourful. One of the "dead presidents" on the US dollar was overlapped with red lips. The rest of the visual effects were simple and this merely added to the overall experience.
Jazz performed a numebr of his well known songs which ranged from "Dead or Alive" from his older project "Maurading in Paradise" to more recent tracks like "Stick and Move" and "Tales". The bulid up was well executed, the climax being one of his more vibrant songs "Holy *hit". Crowd participation was another key aspect which he handled with no problem at all. He acknowledged the crowd in the middle who started a moshpit at every given chance. Cuzzi engaged with his people on a level which felt real, he was not an artist but one of the people during his show.
Jazz topped off and all-round perfromance when he climed upon the scafolding during his last song "Dead or Alive" which .
Cuzzi stayed after his performance to ensure that every fan could leave with a personal picture. Jazz gave one disabled fan extra-time at the end of the show, displaying compassion.
After such a performance, Jazz left his mark on the evening and definitely was the "talk of the town".
Even though the venue was pretty small jazz cartier managed to give one one of the best concerts I've ever been to be would splash the crowd with water at perfect times to turn everyone up and his interactions with the crowd were amazing, at one point he called 5 volunteers on stage and got them all to jump off the stage and crowd surf at the same time, he got every one to make a most pit during Red Alert, he was walking on the crowd saving every one up while we held him up, and after the show he stuck around to sign autographs for every one 10/10 would see again
Best concert I have ever been to, amazing performance and connection between Jazz and his fans. Music is phenomenal as well, the production is amazing. Would recommend to anyone, his music offers a variety of sound and is lyrically strong. 11/10
This show was lit! The front row was absolutely crazy and he even took my phone for a selfie snapchat video. 10/10 would recommend and the opening was super cool too. Got to meet him and get a pic - look him up J.I.D
By far the most lit concert I have ever been too. Sick openers and even the djs were turning up. Better than Travi$ and Thugger. Would most definitely go again
