Saw these guys at The Commodore in Vancouver. A lovely group of soft spoken, humble brits entered the stage with a matching soft-beated/pulsed light highlights. And though it was difficult to hear at times what the band was saying, you could tell that it was because of their soft spoken personas. The audience was respectfully quiet when appropriate, save for one bloke and companion who would not stop obnoxiously roaring at Michael, "LOUDER!". Way to rep Vancouver guys...
Anywho, the band performed an acoustic version of "Someone To You" and it was hilariously amazing at one bit of the song as the lads attempted to reverse puberty and squeaked out some high notes. This caused us to laugh and Michael to snicker and stop playing for a bit before finding the lyrics again and continuing.
Some banter throughout about the queen being on our money and the legalization of chocolate. It was all a very fun night.
This show was one of the most amazing music experiences I've ever had. Definitely a night to remember- for everyone. The power went out in most of the city, right in the middle of The Brummies' set. So the night was an acoustic set with such a magical feeling to it. It's like we all got to know each other. Banners sang in the middle of the crowd. They set up with two drums and a guitar. He even had a sore throat and still played for an hour. It was nothing short of incredible and I can't thank them and The Brummies enough for the night they gave us all. Denver will miss you!
They put on an excellent show and gave it their all which was appreciated where the turn out was so small.(tough being on a Monday and I don't think they did a great job at marketing outside of Sixrus). The band hung around at the end and was so humble they did a meet and greet and really genuine appreciated the people that came out to see them . I would go again they would be perfect in a line up with either Kodaline or Hozier.
That was an amazing show!! The songs are even better live than the recorded versions and I thought they were gonna be the best I got, but seeing it live is an amazing experience and I’m so happy me and my friend were able to see it. I forget his name but the guy on the keyboard was super nice and gave me a set list and a high five!!
IT WAS AMAZING. The energy was incredible and he really engaged with the crowd. I loved it and would not hesitate to see them again. Also the singing was on point. Some of them band members stayed around afterwards for pictures and to talk. I would recommend seeing them!!
Great live! Great voice, great vibe. He has great stage banter and really sweet guy. He did a really good job interacting with crowd and was nice enough to meet everyone after at the merch table. Would def see him again and would def recommend.
BANNERS put on a great show! When I saw them they played at Club Absinthe, which is a fairly small venue, and they really made an effort to connect with the crowd. Would definitely see them again!
Really great, wish he did more acoustic stuff. I thought I knew all of their songs, but apparently not. Only a few are available online, so I was pleasantly surprised at the show.
Really great concert Micheal is pretty funny, and has a great stage presence. I don't even like all of their songs and I still really enjoyed the concert. Money well spent.
