The adrenaline was pumping though all of our veins in Adelaide South Australia. There was an incredible build up before Andy came onto the stage. Dramatic music boomed though the speakers then there was a dramatic "boom" sound that got repeated subsequently the lights started flashing and Andy flew onto the stage as he began to sing Homecoming King. He made it his mission to engage with the audience, he looked at us and asked us questions. He had Bow as his drummer and Josh as his lead guitarist. The atmosphere at Flowers Life was perplexing, everyone was pushed up together which gave it the concert feel. He didn't only sing songs off of The Shadow Side he also sang some Black Veil Brides songs and made some tributes to his idols Billy Idol and Alkaline Trio. Overall this concert was extravagant. Andy looked at me numerous times and gave me wave which melted my heat. If he is ever in town for you get your tickets as fast as you can because you wont be disappointing!
Absolutely amazing time! I came with my young daughter who became a big fan after I introduced her to Andy's music (solo and BVB). She was so cute at the meet & greet and he was very kind speaking with her. I was practically star struck and didn't say half of what I wanted to. You can tell he's a great person with a great message in his songs, very heartfelt and with meaning. The venue was close quarters but that made for a more intimate show. Great songs, and I appreciated the monologue in-between. I wonder if he slowed things down a bit due to his appendix surgery not too long ago... More songs would have been wonderful but what he said tied in well. I hope he schedules a show in Madison, WI some time soon so we can see him again more locally. Highly recommend anyone go see Andy Black for an energy-filled and enjoyable evening. Opening acts Kulick and The Faim added a great level as well. Can't wait for next time.
This was my first concert in my life I am 43 years old . Andy is on of my fav artist! I love all of BVB song and Andys song,But one means more to me then any of them a few year back I lost my son and was going threw very dark times. I was ready to end things . Then that same time Put The Gun Down come out . It was like a wake up And I stoped and got help . So this concert was the best thing I have ever done I wanted to see Andy for years and here the song that saved my life. And he did not disappoint it was the best. And after the concert we left real quick . As my husband and I was walking out Andy was going to his bus I was close to him and got to say Thank you. I hope he heard me . Because that was for saving my life . Forever a fan Theresa Proffitt
Seeing Andy Black as a solo artist was as good as it was seeing Black Veil Brides, he's brilliant live and really interacts with the audience, he has a really good voice and he sang songs off his first album as well as The Ghost Of Ohio. I even met him which was great, he's a genuinely lovely person. My husband who isn't into his music also had a good time. I think it's a shame more people haven't heard of him in the Uk, i've seen Prince many times and to me Andy Black is just as good, his music deserves to be played on more radio stations.
The concert didn't happen as he was too sick to be able to perform for the Toronto show. I don't know what else to say; I can't properly review a concert that never happened nor is it being rescheduled it would seem, only Canadian date and it's never happening. I had a VIP that I was pretty stoked to receive, merch, meeting Andy and all, and all that I got refunded pretty quickly which was a bonus but a sad bonus as I would have much preferred to attend the concert than spend my night at home last minute. Cheers to hoping he gets better.
Daughter a big BVB fan but not my cup of tea. Bought tickets as a surprise for her. Wasn't looking forward to enduring 2 hours of Andy Black but have to admit it wasn't what I expected at all and by the end found myself foot tapping n singing along. What a talented young man who obviously connects with his fans. Would definitely recommend going to see him and will be keeping an eye out for his next visit to Manchester.
Andy Black is the best anyway but to meet him at his concert was even better! I love his new songs, because it's different to Black Veil Brides and shows a new side to him. I enjoyed every minute of it and I even bought myself a t-shirt and a poster to remember what an amazing time I had. Andy Black is perfect in every way and I saw that more at his concert. #Homecomingtour
When I heard Andy was coming to Glasgow, I knew I had to go. It was my first time going to a concert and I was so excited. It was everything and more of what I imagined it would be like and you could see clearly the effort both Andy and Creeper, the opening band, had put into the show. Absolutely amazing.
Awesome show, Andy is a spectacular showman and knows how to interact with the crowd. The venue was packed, but nice overall. The only issue was a few men whistling very loudly througout the show, which was inappropriate and irritating. Overall a great show, would definitely go to see Andy again.
I had a phenomenal time seeing Andy black, I've followed him and his music for the last 10 years and it's been a dream of mine to see him in concert. We did the meet and greet and he was an absolute lovely guy, so polite and caring. Would love to see him again if he come back!
