The Holloways

The Holloways were a band I saw at a music festival in the park. Live, these guys are an absolute blast! They've got two singers that really compliment each other well as far as vocal melodies are concerned. The guitars also dance around each other very similar to the way their vocals do, so it's like a barrage of interesting melodies. The guys were dressed pretty normally but all had interesting hats on, which brought a little humor.

They were also pretty interactive with the show. The style of music didn't give them a lot of room to do any type of stage acrobatics, but it would have also been a little weird if they did!They also had a few parts in the song Generator that they played on a super small kid's keyboard. The crowd seemed to like that. Although, I feel like the heat outside might have sapped a bit of the energy out of the crowd.

Seeing as how it was at a festival, the stage was pretty bare bones. You could see all of their equipment and there were lights, but none of them were being used for the band, probably something a headliner would have used.
