Join Reflections for an evening of immersive light and blissed-out electronics at a cathedral in the Upper East Side, one block from the Guggenheim.
ALESSANDRO CORTINI (Mute Records, Nine Inch Nails) performs a series of improvised, atmospheric works made with the Make Noise Strega, the instrument he co-designed with synth company Make Noise. A longstanding member of NIN, Cortini has released several albums on Mute and Important Records, often in collaboration with luminaries like Daniel Avery, Lawrence English, and Merzbow.
FATEN KANAAN opens the night with a set of Renaissance-inspired pieces for synthesizer, blending ambient drones and focused counterpoint into her own brand of medieval futurism.
ERIC EPSTEIN performs a cinematic, 3D-mapped visual light show throughout the evening, projected directly onto the walls of this historic church.
