Cimafunk

A revolutionary fusion of american funky music with cuban rythms. A talented Cimafunk with a band of talented musicians. I really enjoyed and danced with these new sounds different from the cuban music sounds I am familiar with since my childhood.

I've been hosting concerts for several years - the show with Gina Chavez and her full band was, by everyone's estimation, the best we've ever had. Energy, passion, musicianship, joy and just pure fun! Don't miss her when she comes near you!

OH EM GEE! They now have a fan for freaking life. The show was beyond incredible and energetic, despite being in a very small place. I left the bar drenched in sweat and a little sore because of how much I was dancing. Had the pleasure to meet the guitarist and drummer, super cool dudes. No matter how many times they come and play I will always try my best to catch a show. 100% recommend!

Had the chance to see Angelica Garcia as the opening act at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA in March, 2017. She was fantastic. Hugely talented, even if not quite a polished performer yet. Music, including a tight three-piece band behind her, was great. She seemed a little nervous and shy. She started the set alone and I initially thought she was just setting up, but she used a loop machine to lay down layered vocals so that she ended up singing four-part harmony with herself. Takes serious chops and confidence to pull that off. She's someone to check out if you get a chance and to keep an eye on for the future.
