The COTFG New Media Art & Sound Summit 2026 will take place at Cherrywood Center on September 26th and 27th ! Each year, our team curates a few days of interesting sound art and experimental music activities for Central Texans to enjoy.

This year's performers include: Christopher Petkus, Emily Beisel (Chicago, IL), Lisa Cameron, Mongoose, BASS BOSS (film by Rana Ghose) , MDN (NYC), Seetha Shivaswamy, Sacabambaspis (Toto Miranda and Daniel Mee), Patricia Wolf (Portland, OR), Jaycie Carver , Peter Stopschinski , Ruido/Noise, Kenzie Slottow, Travis Burns, Sleeping Beast, Kenken Gorder , and more TBA soon!

COTFG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our modest budget relies on ticket sales and generous support from patrons like you.

Our mission is to serve as a beacon for Austin’s cultural landscape in experimental sound as we uplift diverse and under-served artists, fostering equitable opportunities for creation, collaboration and community access.

The yearly New Media Art & Sound Summit ( aka NMASS or NMASSfest ) is an opportunity for audiences to experience high quality performances for affordable cost, and for local musicians and sound artists to collaborate on new projects.

This event serves as both our yearly festival and our yearly fundraiser. Thank your so much for your consideration in supporting this event!
