Arguably the best grime MC of his generation, Ghetts can tear the roof off of a venue by rapping just one lyric, a remarkable talent and only possible if you have gathered as much respect as he has. Getting involved with grime following his release from prison and performing under the name 'Ghetto', his tracks were renowned for their strong themes, fast flow and aggression, elements that he has managed to tone down to an extent in order to be more commercially friendly. Despite this, Ghetts has one of the best and versatile flows in grime music, spitting on an array of beats with relative ease. In recent times, Ghetts has established that he now has three different identities as a musician, mentioned on the 2013 track 'The Cypher', meaning that you can expect to hear a variety of rap music at concerts. This ranges from the overly aggressive in tracks like 'Artillery' and 'Venomous Tongue' to more laid back and thought provoking songs like 'Rebel' and 'Born & Raised'. Throughout sets you will get to experience different sides of the artist, meaning that you can empathise with him more whilst listening to a wider diversity of music.
When witnessing this artist live, you can expect to hear his rebellious nature almost resonate completely with you as you start wildly dancing and jumping. A Ghetts concert is a perfect place to either channel your aggression through movement or to consider yourself as a person, and as the set moves on you will undoubtedly feel a wealth of emotions. His music is best listened to in intimate venues in order to feel the intensity of the performance and will be an extraordinary experience orchestrated by an exceptional MC.

To see Ghetts with a mix of a band and then Rude Kid was great, his energy was on point as always.

Unfortunately the sound in the venue was quite poor, especially on his mic and the band drowned him out. It's difficult in Academy 2 as it's not the best venue, it's just a big square box with little atmosphere.

Best gig I ever been to hands down. Amazing energy from Ghetts with an awesome crowd driving him on. Greatest living artist. Venue was fine and absolutely packed with a great crowd. Chip and mercston did an awesome job too as features.
