Biografia
Prior to forming Chino y Nacho, Perez (Chino) and Mendoza (Nacho), were both members in arguably Venezuela’s most popular 2000’s boy band Calle Ciega. During their time with Calle Ciega, the pair released five albums including 2007's “Más Caliente” and topped the Venezuelan charts for several months with the hugely popular single “Mi Cachorrita”. Shorty after releasing “Más Caliente”, Chino and Perez decided to part ways with the group and made their full-length debut with the album “Época de Reyes” in 2008.
The album made considerable waves in Venezuela weaving tropical and romantic themes into a distinctive reggaeton style. The two-disc album became a smash hit and led to the equally as successful singles “Vagabundo de Amor” featuring Divino, and “Dentro de Mí” featuring Don Omar. The duo quickly became the country’s most revered urban act, leading to Chino & Nacho signing a record deal with Universal Music in 2009, which with international distribution marked the pair’s introduction into the U.S.
Released specifically in the States 2010's “Mi Niña Bonita” mostly featured songs from their previous release “Época de Reyes”, in addition to a handful of new songs. It wasn’t long before long the duo had made their mark on North America and the album rose steadily to the top of the Billboard Latin Songs chart, and later won the group the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Album.
Chino & Nacho subsequently released the album “Supremo” in 2011, marking a stylistic move away from reggaeton towards a more tropical fusion sound. Like its predecessor the album proved to be highly popular and once again topped the Billboard Latin Album chart, aided by the singles “El Poeta”, “Bebé Bonita” featuring Jay Sean, “Regálame Un Muack” and “Sin Ti”.

Sometimes two heads really are better than one, and most appropriately when regarding the Venezuelan pop duo Chino y Nacho. The two musicians came together in 2007 with a mutual love of all things tropical and latino and they have not looked back since. There is a huge infatuation with this music in South America so a fanbase was ready for the offset.
It has grown substantially since then thanks to the energetic live show and upbeat performance style of the pair. They have a really slick backing band to keep everything in time whilst they concentrate on crowd interaction and getting them suitably hyped up for the show. They totally bounce off each other's frantic energy and this is then passed on to the audience who cannot help but move along to the exciting and upbeat rhythms. Latino pop is infectious in general yet Chino y Nacho inject some much needed personality to really great a live performance of total fun and free spiritedness.
