Rafael Pondé

Our first concert on June11th had a sold out crowd! Rafael and his band will be performing at Bossa on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, starting at 8pm sharp. The next date is June 25th. The night is going to be dedicated to Forro music. Traditionally in June, Brazilians celebrate Saint John with great Forro music and great food. Our set will include the music of of Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Jackson do Pandeiro and some Forró originals by Rafael, including Vale do capão, Lampião de Maria (Rafael Pondé e Janaina Moreno), Panela Seletiva and Sorriso De Flor. The band includes Rafael on Guitar and vocals, André Coelho and Juan Megna on Percussion. See you then!!
