The music of Will Todd

This is an amazing opportunity to learn to The Promise, the brand new choral work by Will Todd which has yet to be premiered in Britain.

In memory of her daughter, Clarissa, friend of the Festival Hilary Nicholls has commissioned three renowned composers - Cecilia McDowall, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, and Joanna Gill - to each compose a piece reflecting on different stages of Clarissa’s life.

The pieces sit together in a triptych which we will be learning led by Festival Conductor Neil Ferris, with additional direction from the composers themselves who will each be there with us on the day.

The day will culminate with an informal performance. Friends and family are welcome to come along at 4.00pm to hear the performance - please purchase a £10 audience ticket.

All proceeds from the day will be split equally between LHMF and charity Cardiac Risk in the Young
