I'm liable to be biased as I was the promoter, but last night was one of the most memorable that I've put on in a long while.
His sound, delivery style and rapport with the audience make him unique.
Don't go expecting a trad blues gig 'coz you 'aint going to get it, but if you go with open ears and heart you'll have a blast.
This was his Filthy 45's Tour so it was an evening of covers and highlights included his versions of Lust for Life, Tequila (his latest single) Paloma Faith's Can't Rely on You and a barnstorming Black Betty for an encore.
Would I book him again? Not 'arf.
PS...he's also a gent, if a slightly nutty one!!
