Nahko and Medicine for the People

Nahko and Medicene for the People are such a fantastic live band who take to the stage as this festival this afternoon as the sunsets in the bad ground. They are so fantastic at what they do with a sort of acoustic rock with and edge kind of sound. Nahko “Bear” Parayn is very much at the helm of the band, topless and tattooed with rufio hair, engaging this audience into their set, generating new fans that are walking past. It’s one of those atmospheres that everyone is massively into. Their sound is definitely of a sort of folk variety too especially with songs such as “Aloha Ke Akua” and “Manifesto II” keeping this party going. “Warrior People” is probably the most driven song of the set with everyone dancing, on the verge of a mosh pit. I would say that these are definitely a band that could take over the world with their sound and their live show is just so much fun to be a part of!
