Arrived for this one at a venue I have never visited before, strange place, part wedding reception, part funeral parlour but interesting all the same. Arrived during the support slot which was a bit of angry political folk music which to be honest was nothing special, the audience was also a strange mix and not what I was expecting for an angry New York swearalot as in Mr Hamell. All that aside Hamell was loud, funny, endearing at times and hugely entertaining as expected. If you get the chance just go see for yourself which is a much better option than anything I might say about him. The crowd, by the way loved it so as they say, never judge a book by it's cover. A great night.
