New Moon Coffeehouse has been called "one of the great New England folk music coffeehousees" - but we think we're just a very comfortable, welcoming place for anyone who enjoys live folk music in a calm, friendly atmosphere. This is a monthly, nonprofit folk-music venue established in 1987 by a group of Haverhill Massachusetts residents, hosted by the Haverhill Universalist Unitarian Church, 16 Ashland Street, Haverhill, Massachusetts. Now in its 23rd season, the New Moon Coffeehouse is produced by an all-volunteer nonprofit organization led by co-founder Carol Allen. TICKETS AT DOOR; MAY BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tickets $20, purchase at door beginning at 6:30 the day of the show. Purchase in advance through our website www.newmooncoffeehouse.org. A one-dollar processing fee is added to the cost online ticket purchases. Refreshments for sale: coffee, soft drinks, pastries; no smoking, no alcoholic beverages. Many find downtown restaurants on Merrimack, Washington and Wingate Streets less than 1 mile away from venue. Fast food (Taco Bell/KFC) 1 block from venue. Hire a babysitter and schedule your next date night at the New Moon Coffeehouse! Or just come by yourself - there's plenty of parking in the lot between Ashland and Kenoza streets (behind the church), and our facility is wheelchair accessible. Plan to meet a friend or two, especially if they have not been out to hear live music in a while.
