The Comedy Spectacular presents a snapshot of the best local stand-up comedy that Melbourne has to offer. MC Dave Thornton will host this mini gala of comedians including Tom Gleeson, Denise Scott, Dave O’Neil and Peter Helliar. The night takes its inspiration from legendary Melbourne comedy rooms The Last Laugh, Le Joke, Espy Comedy and more. Comedy rooms that have somehow disappeared from the local scene, but in their time were the starting point and breeding ground for many of the superstars of Australian comedy today.
