We’re very proud to have a true luminary in Riton headlining, someone who has been at the forefront of dance music for over a decade, gathering accolades from every corner with his genre-crashing approach and pulsating DJ sets. His prolific creativity has seen him work with legends like Soulwax, the late great DJ Mehdi, Lindstrom, Heidi, and most recently Canblaster as ‘Symphony Hall’.
Also in the main room are Kry Wolf, fresh from the release of their masssssive collaboration with Claude VonStroke, and the launch of their awesome new label Food Music. Cardiff duo Bodhi almost broke the internet earlier this year when their remix of The xx’s Angels hit the web, and My Nu Leng are as hot as it gets right now, with their latest material picking up big support from the likes of James Zabiela, and their latest 12” selling out in a flash. Alfie’s rich, soulful creations sound more like the work of a house and techno veteran, and his recent Hyponik mix showcased influences that stretched well before his time. Wolf Cub’s Desverre EP on Fat! Records picked up huge DJ support, and as a member of Transmission Collective he’s in for a massive 2013.
Continuing this who’s who of exciting young talent are Mancunian Alex Blaxx, who’s awesome ‘The Evening News EP’ on Buzzin’ Fly recently topped the DMC chart, Squarehead & Mella Dee, who’s wicked ‘Get Together’ on Wolf Music was a recent Tune Of The Week at Mixmag, and Toyboy & Robin, who have really made waves with their fresh soulful take on house music. The latest Fat! Records signing The Attic Project brings his live show to London for the very first time, and we also give a London debut to Werkha, who’s incredible Cube & Puzzle EP picked up support from Gilles Peterson.
