American Dreamer

American Dreamer will play a fine acoustic concert on Saturday, October 6th, 2018, doors open at 7:00 PM.

American Dreamer is an professional ensemble based in Austin, TX. AD consists of Sasha Klare-Ayvazian (vocals/guitar), Audrey Lee (violin), Courtney Castaneda (cello), Dana Wygmans (bass/vocals), and Rick Palese (drums).

Our three classically trained string players help to create a sound that, while steeped in both classical and folk music, is unique to itself. We call it "orchestral folk." It's a lush sound with layered harmonies and rich textures.

Everyone in the band is a professional musician with over 30 years of music school between us. You can find our members performing in the Austin Symphony Orchestra, playing all over town, teaching orchestra at the UT Elementary School, and teaching music at UT, Austin.
