The F Word and the Roundhouse bring you a night of female led music talent.
Liverpudlian electro-pop trio, Stealing Sheep are known for their on-stage presence as much as their music. Costumes and choreography mingle with melodic, playful electro-pop for a live show that’s bound to leave you feeling good. They’ve supported the likes of Ladytron, Djanjo Django and The Postal Service, adding their own special magic to these highly memorable shows.
One to watch, Eva-Lina, is an up and coming artist and producer from Sweden who makes playful pop with attitude and an urban edge. Known for her captivating stage presence, since leaving her day job as a builder (yes, builder) and moving to London, Eva has performed at festivals and smashed it on stage at The Moth Club, during a female led line-up last International Women’s Day.
Also on the line up is Roundhouse Resident Artist, IORA. Combining haunting, folk-inspired vocals, electronic samples and catchy pop riffs, IORA’s sound is familiar yet distinctly her own. Having been championed by the likes of BBC Introducing, 6 Music and BBC Radio Manchester, and with high profile performances at London’s Southbank Centre and Manchester International Festival ahead of her debut EP release ‘eYes Of a bEAst’ – this is set to be an exciting year for IORA.
The F Word is a female collective promoting gender parity in music though bringing you gigs for all, made by women.
