Remember Liemba 28th of November...
We are celebrating the release of not one but TWO EPs this year with a gig on 28th November. Details will be released over the next few weeks... We're ridiculously excited about the venue and everyone who is involved. More details to be revealed next week.
Liemba
Brighton based acoustic powerhouse Liemba combine classic folk routes with contemporary acoustic/rock influences. Imagine Crosby, Stills and Nash fused with Kings of Convenience, Fleetwood Mac and the Staves.
Simon Gledhill, Nelson Day and Damian Best form the backbone of Liemba with their three-part harmonies and intricate guitar interplay. With songs that could bring a tear to a glass eye and raise the hair on a stoic's neck, Liemba have a magic that stays with you. Harmony driven anthems catapult the band's set into another dimension. They will occasionally be joined on stage by a rhythm section plucked from Brighton’s rich pool of virtuoso players.
