Apple Shakers - Dynamic Duo in the Royal Blood mould I guess, some real nice riffage and at times there's a nigh on Groundhogs vibe and that's gotta be good- see also Foos, QOTSA, Black Keys.
The Volunteered - Built To Spill, Guided By Voices, Modest Mouse, Belle and Sebastian, lead guitar guy jumps on his pedals and widdly widdlies wonderfully well! Debut album, out about now on Scratchy Records.
