Hailing from Inner Western Sydney, and founded by vocalist and guitarist Kate Olivia in 2017, Second Idol (formerly Bruise Pristine) delivers alternative rock-inspired stompers addressing empowerment, diversity, political cynicism and queerness. Ruthless and unapologetic, Second Idol have been making an impact on the Sydney live music scene delivering intense live performances through their fondness for fuzz pedals and fusion of alternative rock, post-punk, grunge and shoegaze influences.
