About Absinthe Green
Founded in 2016 by songwriter and producer Eirini “Absinthe Green” in Dortmund, Germany, the project grew into a full band after her return to Greece in 2019. Joined by drummer Harry Mason, bassist Villy Pirris, and guitarist Panos Economakis, Absinthe Green deliver a powerful fusion of emotionally charged lyrics, soaring vocals, aggressive guitars, and infectious rhythms.
Their debut album Of Love and Pain (produced by Absithe and Hiili Hiilesmaa, release date: September 19, 2025) has already received high acclaim from early reviews, praised for its visceral sound and emotional depth. The record dives into the dualities of human existence -love and loss, beauty and brutality- crafting a listening experience that is both raw and unforgettable.
Critics have praised their music as “a melodic storm of beauty and heartbreak”, reflecting their ability to merge intensity with melody in a way that transcends genre boundaries.
